The two cranes are part of the deck equipment on a service vessel for aquaculture industry that Salthammer Båtbyggeri is building for Abyss Aqua.
The Aukra Maritime cranes are of the type ADKT80 and ADKT50, and have a net lifting capacity of 80 and 50 tonne-meters respectively.
Salthammer Båtbyggeri is one of Norway’s oldest shipyards and has been in operation for four generations since they started in 1896. They have long traditions in shipbuilding and construction of steel structures. The Salthammer Group today consists of Salthammer Båtbyggeri, Salthammer Tresfjord and Hanson Sjøstransport.
Abyss Aqua is part of the Abyss Group and is one of the country’s largest service boat shipping companies in the aquaculture industry. The company is a complete supplier of service operations to the industry, including all types of underwater work.
