Eidsvaag Rederi transports fish feed from Skretting and Ewos factories to fish farms along the Norwegian coast. The fish feed will be transported in sacks and bulk, and the cranes from Aukra Maritime will, among other things, handle the large bags with feed.

The contract includes four cranes, two side hatches and a deck hatch for delivery in May 2020. Two of the cranes are high-capacity large-bag cranes, while the last two are deck cranes, both with a net lifting capacity of 100 tonnes.

The supply ship «World Opal», formerly owned by World Wide Supply, was purchased by feed carrier Eidsvaag. The ship is now given the new name «Eidsvaag Opal» and is being converted into a fish feed transport vessel.
